Orbeo

Terms of Use

In force from 20 September 2026

By creating an Orbeo ID you accept these terms. They are short on purpose.

What Orbeo is

Orbeo is a messenger provided by Prikota Kirill Olegovich free of charge, in its present state. It runs in a browser, on Windows, macOS, Android and iPhone.

Your account

An account is an Orbeo ID and an access code. You choose both. Keep the code to yourself: anyone who knows it is you, as far as the service can tell.

The recovery phrase is your only spare key. There is no phone number and no email to fall back on, which is the point of Orbeo — and the cost of it. Twelve words are shown to you once. Lose both the access code and the phrase, and the account cannot be returned to you by anyone, including us. This is not a policy we could soften; there is simply nothing left to prove the account is yours.

What is not allowed

An account used for the above may be limited or removed without notice.

Reports and legal requests

You can report from inside Orbeo: long-press a message, or use the conversation menu. Reports are read by a person, usually within a day. On a well-founded report the message is deleted for everyone, the conversation is closed, and the account is limited or removed. Material involving the sexual exploitation of children is reported, not merely deleted.

We answer lawful requests from the competent authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan and disclose what the law requires us to disclose. Orbeo has no end-to-end encryption — this is stated plainly in the privacy policy — so the contents of conversations are technically available to us. We do not hand them to anyone voluntarily, without a lawful basis. Connection addresses are not stored at all, so we cannot provide them.

Your content

What you write and send stays yours. You give us only what is needed to run the service: to store your messages and to deliver them to the people you sent them to. Nothing is published, sold or used for advertising. You are responsible for what you send, and for having the right to send it.

Channels and groups

Whoever creates a channel answers for what is published in it. Administrators may remove participants and messages. A channel used against these terms may be removed together with its handle.

What is not promised

Orbeo is free and is provided as it is. There is no guarantee that it will be available without interruption, that a message will always arrive, or that data will never be lost through a failure. Keep anything you cannot afford to lose somewhere else too. Nothing here limits your rights where the law does not allow it to.

Ending it

You may delete your account at any time in Settings, without asking anyone. We may close an account that breaks these terms. The service itself may be discontinued; if that happens, notice will be given in the app and on this site while there is still time to save what matters.

Law and disputes

Orbeo is provided from the Republic of Kazakhstan; it is operated by Prikota Kirill Olegovich, a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These terms, and everything that follows from them, are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This does not take away the rights the law of your own country gives you and that cannot be signed away.

Changes

New terms appear on this page with a new date. Continuing to use Orbeo after that means you accept them.
